Known Issues and Bugs – Challengers Games

We are working hard to improve Second Wave, but bugs and issues like to sneak around and pop out of nowhere. We've gathered a list of known issues, bugs, and available troubleshooting steps to help players navigate the most common issues that they may encounter in-game.

Known Issues from Beta Patch v1.1

Stone Grab Mode	When entering Guard Time with 1 minute remaining, the "1 minute to end game" system message is overlaid with the "Guard Time begins!" system message. When rotating the camera while a character is in front of a wall, the wall and camera do not collide. Using a skill while an enemy character is behind a wall causes damage to the enemy character. Heroes are sometimes stuck in the map. The Start Match Gold begins at 500 instead of 1000.
Domination	When using an elevator. character's foot gets stuck in the platform of an elevator during Domination. Overall performance / FPS drop. After the match ends, an exit pop-up appears.
HUD UI	When reaching Bounty Level 6, the effect color of the item icons on the nameplate at the top of the character is lightened.
Hero	Skill Michaela/Jeremy receiving damage when hit by a Mechanical Golem's Missile skill even if they use their Barrier skills. When a character is facing a building and uses Sprint, part of their body goes into the building. Batu Batu's silhouette while using his ultimate is displayed as white when viewed on the same character's screen. Shania Screen rotation when activating an ultimate. Dio Damage debuff not applying to monsters. Ess'el Killing Ess'el while being actively imprinted by Esl does not remove the marker. Jeremy Basic attacks can produce strange animation issues.
Heroes UI	Character default alignment buttons intermittently fail to enter in console environment After purchasing an item in the Premium Store, the 'New' icon is not displayed in Heroes menu Newly added items in the Hero's Stash do not display New on the category icon. Moving Hero Stash categories is not possible with the Xbox Gamepad.
Profile UI	When navigating to the Triumph tab of the Profile UI while being matched, the "Get All Rewards button" and the "Match button" are overlapping. Account level not reflected in banners.
Collection UI	Avatar Tab > Avatar borders set in the right screen area are not displayed
Xbox > Chat UI > User Pop-Up	Social > Friends > Xbox Friends tab > Avatars and seasonal levels for registered friend accounts are not displayed Social > Friends > xbox friends tab > when moving focus to a friend's account, the A button guide is outputting as a collapse On the xbox platform, the user popup in the chat UI with the following features is not displayed: View xbox profile, Report/Block user, Whisper, Friend request. User popups are now displayed in the lobby screen chat UI, character select screen chat UI, and in-game chat UI. Currently, user popups are displayed in the chat UI on the lobby screen, but not in the chat UI on the in-game and character selection screens.

Lobby	When receiving a whisper on the Lobby screen, the social icons in the top right corner of the screen do not display a notification. Controller button guides not showing or only partially showing up. An exit pop-up occurs after the game ends.
Loading Screen	When clicking on the screen on the loading screen, a "Program Not Responding" pop-up window is displayed. Heroes getting stuck on the map in Stone Grab
Squads	While in a squad, all squad members quit and relaunch the client to enter the lobby and the squad remains in the lobby. Names may not appear in the Squad list in the Lobby.
Tutorials	Entering the Store UI from a region that cannot view the Store UI. Loading screen not loading entirely. To resolve this, please verify your integrity files on Steam.
System	When reconnecting to the client and entering the game, an ally's HP is displayed as it was before the reconnection, and will be corrected when the ally's HP is updated. When the loading screen for entering the game is displayed, in-game sounds are displayed.
Matchmaking	When entering the lobby home screen and immediately pressing the Match Play button, the message "Social Server Not Connected" is displayed. In this issue, the message is displayed, but subsequent presses of the Play button will result in a normal match. Matchmaking stuck at 10/12. Unable to enter the game from the loading screen. The character selection window does not advance to the loading screen after the countdown. Failure to proceed to character selection when all 12 players are accepted.
Ping / Latency in Server Selection	Displays a much higher number than what it is. Avoid making a selection based on these numbers, and simply queue in your own region.
Character Animation	Incorrect animations are shown in some situations.
Social	Character selector and in-game chat not working smoothly (Stove)
Monsters	Automatons and Golems are changing positions erratically.
Social	Players who force quit Domination are still listed as playing Capture the Flag.
Game Results	Incorrect display of total gold earned.
Hero Selection	Unable to change characters upon entering the game after a long wait. Account appears to be level 1
Title Screen	Incorrect ping for a server region. After cancelling at the Acceptance of Terms stage, returning to the title and continuing to change the region would result in a forced quit.
Chat	Hero selector and in-game chat not working properly (Stove)
Triumphs / Achievements	Steam Achievement "Where to Run?" does not unlock. Rewards are claimed, but the claim button is still active. The Spade Four achievement "Master of Ceremonies" is unlocked without earning 10,000 gold within a match.
Game Surrender	HUD message and chat message are different when completing a vote.
Kill Logs	Kill logs and kill feeds are displayed twice in Domination matches.
Premium Store	Duplicate products were being displayed.
